HOUSE JACOBS

The client wanted the home to predominantly be on one level, with the main bedroom and en-suite bathroom separate to the two guest bedrooms. So, we designed a 340m² 3-bedroom 2-bathroom house in January 2019, for a plot with a 6m slope.

The open but cosy lounge has a picture frame corner window with a spectacular view of the surrounding mountains. The kitchen and dining space seamlessly connect with the entertainment patio overlooking Jonkershoek Mountain and beyond. The sun deck terrace and swimming pool is on a lower level, as a response to the contours of the site.

Construction started in March 2020 and will be completed in March 2021.
